Time Attendance Payroll
While developing other software in the JaWiSoft Group, co-founder Jacques Oostenbrink regularly mentioned an employee clocking program he developed and the programming lessons he learnt from it, but also that the program was not fit for commercial release.
When other co-founder Wihan Louw eventually saw the program, he realised that with a few improvements it can be sold commercially.
As they worked on the program to get it ready for market, they realised that with even more improvements the program can become a market leader. Wi-Fi capability was added and the code was rewritten from scratch to align with current best practices.
A beta version of the Time and Attendance module was completed. Unfortunately Jacques's time got consumed by other work obligations within JaWiSoft BCD and further development ceased.
